Arcane Scenery and Model Supplies presents:
King John of England
King John of England wasn’t the most popular of our Monarchs and as well as his dispute with the Barons of England, it was his poor Monarchy that prompted the legend of Robin Hood to become famous. However, regardless of the legends, King John died at Newark Castle and it is for this reason that he is included in the Trent Miniatures Adventure range. Numerous, possibly fictitious, accounts circulated soon after his death that he had been killed by poisoned ale, poisoned plums or a “surfeit of peaches”. We can definitely rule out any possibility of poisoned ale existing in Newark and therefore confirm it was the Peaches that caused his death…. This mini range brings together a variety of historical figures that have been associated with the town of Newark in Nottinghamshire, England. The models have been designed by Master Sculptor, Mark Copplestone. There are ten Characters in the series for you to collect.King John will also make a superb character for your Medieval Army. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Trent Miniatures is a well established Wargames Figure Company producing high quality 28mm miniatures. They produce a number of ranges including soldiers of the French Revolutionary Wars, Historical Characters and a small but superb Science Fiction range.
