Arcane Scenery and Model Supplies presents:
Glyptodon is part of the placental group of mammals known as Xenarthra. This order of mammals includes anteaters, tree sloths, extinct ground sloths, extinct pampatheres, and armadillos.
Glyptodon originated in South America. A related genus, Glyptotherium, first appeared in the south-west of the modern USA about 2.5 million years ago as a result of the Great American Interchange, a set of migrations that occurred after North and South America were connected by the rising of the volcanic Isthmus of Panama. They became extinct about 10,000 years ago. The native human population in their range is believed to have hunted them and used the shells of dead animals as shelters in inclement weather.
Please note that this is a resin model and will need some preparation before painting. 1 model per pack.
Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The DeeZee range has been designed to go with the Tooth and Claw rules set (also available from my shop). Of course, they are superb models in their own right and can be used as display pieces, in historical dioramas and are ideal conversion subjects for Fantasy and Scifi gaming.
Arcane Scenery and Models are proud to be authorised stockists for DeeZee Miniatures.
Please note that these models are made of metal or resin and they are not suitable for children. They have sharp points and may be harmful if they are chewed or swallowed.
